[ yellow tail ], the #1 imported wine brand in the U.S., launches the “12 Days of Giveaways” program with Ali Fedotowsky, former star of ABC’s The Bachelorette, to bring more fun into the hectic holiday season. By offering chances to win exciting prizes and free taxi rides in select cities on the busiest party night of the season, [ yellow tail ] is turning everyday occasions into something memorable.
To kick-off the program, [ yellow tail ] and Ali Fedotowsky rode the streets of New York City in a taxi, surprising people with the opportunity to participate in a holiday trivia quiz. One lucky winner was rewarded with a trip of a lifetime for two to Australia.
“I adore the holiday season, but I also know how tough it can get juggling travel, weather and end of year craziness. That’s why I was thrilled to be able to team up with [yellow tail] to add some fun and laughter to a cold New York day,” says Ali Fedotowsky.

This November, Purina wants to thank the four-legged friends who make our lives so special. From now through the Thanksgiving holiday, Purina is inviting dog owners to log on to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and tell the world why they are thankful for their dog.
For every original post submitted through November 29th that includes @Purina and the hashtag, #dogthanking, Purina will donate one dollar to the AKC Canine Health Foundation – up to $75,000 – to help further pet health research. Submitted videos, photos and posts may be shown during the National Dog Show Presented by Purina, on Thanksgiving Day on NBC.
Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir kicked off the campaign by thanking his dog Tema: “Tema is my little prince, and always there wagging his tail when I get home. He brings so much joy to my life, and I am so thankful for his companionship,” Weir said of his Japanese Chin. He and fellow Olympian, Tara Lipinski, will be on special assignment to lend their distinctive presence for the first time to The National Dog Show Presented by Purina.

Every year thousands of bulls in hundreds of villages around Spain become Toro de Fuego (Bull of Fire) in which they are violently forced to function as live torches and fireworks machines to the joy of thousands of humans, in festivals called Toro Jubilo or Bou Embolat in Catalonia and Valencia regions.
Each bull’s horror begins when he is tied by the horns and violently dragged to a pillar, through the roaring streets, where his head is tied, his legs forcibly held and his tail pulled so he would be totally immobilized. Then the machine of torture - a plank of wood attached to a metal bar doused with a highly flammable mixture of turpentine and tar, is firmly fixed to his head. Once ignited, the bull is let loose to the streets.
Aircelle (Safran)’s highly innovative method to display logos, advertising or other messaging with thin electro-luminescent markings on airliners and business jets has been unveiled during its first flight aboard an Airbus A380.
In an evaluation performed June 8 during the nighttime hours, the A380 testbed aircraft’s no. 1 outboard engine nacelle was outfitted with an Aircelle electro-luminescent display configured as an illuminated Airbus logo. Thanks to this flight, Aircelle was able to demonstrate the marking’s brightness, clarity and readability – confirming its outstanding visibility at various lighting conditions and distances.
With the thickness of a decal, the “Illuminate the Sky by Aircelle” patented solution can be easily modified and reprogrammed, allowing for a variety of images or messages to be displayed and changed. It is capable of showing a full range of graphics, patterns and animations, with placement almost anywhere on an aircraft – from the fuselage and under-fuselage belly to the engine nacelles and tail.

Saxo Bank, the online trading and investment specialist, believes a reasonably positive economic momentum barring a geopolitical crisis is likely during Q2 2012. The eventual return of QE seems inevitable as central banks try to keep the crisis at bay and the compounding of policy errors failing to address the solvency problem and growing social and geo-political friction will potentially lead to an explosive outcome.
According to the Bank’s analysts, Europe will continue on the path of flat growth despite the Eurozone having entered recession at the tail-end of last year. However the rebound in economic growth in the US will eventually spill over into Europe, and Asia will continue to aid its growth through imports. If the recovery in the US fails to provide enough jobs momentum a return of QE some time in Q3 may be a possibility. In Asia, the critical question is China, as losses on investments continue to accumulate and eventually need to be realised.

Life with our four-legged friends is so much fun that it inspired dog owners across the country to write a jingle about it. Yesterday, Country Music star Trace Adkins selected Dewey Longuski of Mason, Mich. as the Grand Prize winner of the Waggin’ Train® Tail Waggin’ Jingle Contest, which asked dog owners to create an original jingle with lyrics describing how they enjoy a “tail waggin’ good time” with their best buddies. As the Grand Prize winner of the national contest, Longuski won the opportunity of a lifetime to perform his jingle in a recording session produced by the Country star.
