I'm a wonderful family dog, housetrained, and I love children. I also get along well with other dogs. When I meet them I like to lick their mouths. You have to see it; it's really quite adorable. Cats are not my favorites, so a family with kids and a dog would be perfect for me. My Meet Your Match calls me a Purple Constant Companion, so I don't need lots of exercise time, just lots of your love.

Multi-platinum recording artist Selena Gomez will take the stage today for a LIVE performance to kickoff The Salvation Army’s 123rd National Red Kettle Campaign at AT&T Stadium during halftime of the Dallas Cowboys vs. Oakland Raiders nationally televised game on CBS. For the past 17 years, the Dallas Cowboys have helped The Salvation Army launch the campaign during its nationally televised halftime performances. The Red Kettle Campaign raised more than $148.7 million last year to serve America’s most vulnerable by providing food, shelter and more than 1 million toys for children during the holidays.

Beginning today and airing throughout the week, NBC’s TODAY will debut a series of television public service ads, (PSAs) featuring TODAY’s anchors, on behalf of four social issues—fatherhood involvement, hunger prevention, emergency preparedness and shelter pet adoption. The ads were created pro bono by leading advertising agencies throughout the country in partnership with the Ad Council, a non-profit and leading producer of PSA campaigns for over 70 years. TODAY’s anchors personally selected the social issues they are supporting among the Ad Council’s 50 national campaigns, and participated in brainstorming sessions with the ad agencies to help inform the creative.

On Thursday, December 15 at noon (ET), 24 Salvation Army volunteer bell ringers in cities across America will compete against one another in an attempt to set a world record for the longest continuous hand bell ringing by an individual. The contestants will seek to raise awareness for The Salvation Army’s 120th Red Kettle Campaign and support the Mission of The Salvation Army in serving people in need. Bell ringers will set an official Salvation Army record for 2011 when they surpass the 36 hour record set in 2010, and many hope to ring for as many as 60 hours.

A small group of survivors seek shelter from an infection that has spread among mankind. With little money for food and shelter, Abu Ahmed and Abdallah have sold their kidneys to organ traffickers. One of them was given only a fraction of the sum promised and faces now health complications. The other one is recovering in a filthy room in a dirty slum hoping to be smuggled to Europe by the organ trafficker.
