Hypotension or low blood pressure is pressure that is lower than normal blood pressure. Regular blood vessels pressure for the human entire body is 120/80 mmHg. If your bp is 90/60 mmHg or reduce you may have reduced blood pressure.
Hypotension happens because of low blood flow through arteries and veins that can lead to less oxygen becoming passed to essential organs. This really is due to weakness, flabby and over dilated blood vessels. In situation of less oxygen becoming passed to brain, heart, eye and kidney, they are able to get harm and in some significant situations it can permanently damaged essential organs.
A few of the reasons that can cause hypotension are pregnancy, diabetes, the hormonal problems, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, and low blood sugar. Some over-the-counter medications can also produce this issue. The overdose of higher bp drugs, abnormal center beats or rhythms, disrupting functioning of heart, heat stroke and liver illness might also trigger hypotension.
Some other factors that can cause sudden drops in blood vessels stress are loss of blood vessels, low body temperature, higher entire body temperature, sepsis, a severe blood infection, heart muscle disease causing heart failure, serious dehydration, due to reaction from medication and also the serious allergic response (anaphylaxis).
The main symptoms of low blood pressure are fainting, fatigue, dizziness, nausea, vertigo, transient blurring of vision, over exertion, mental disturbances, severe confusion and breathlessness. But with the normalization of the bp, these symptoms will subside gradually.

Groundnuts have most of the needed nutrients and protein. Roasted groundnuts are more nourishing. Boil dates in sweetened milk. Take this milk warm along with the boiled dates, two or three times. Sugarcane juice is also a great energy booster and recommended for reduced bp.
Wheatgrass is believed to rejuvenate and revitalize the energy levels. Extract the juice and consume it immediately whilst nevertheless fresh for best result. Carry 2 to 4 grams of guggul twice a day together with hot milk, preferably within the winter months.
Going on the offensive against one of the most daunting challenges in cancer, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) today announced the launch of a groundbreaking, collaborative clinical trial for acute myeloid leukemia (AML), a deadly disease which has seen few improvements in treatments in more than 40 years.
Beat AML was announced yesterday by Vice President Biden, along with many new, Moonshot inspired initiatives across industry, non-profit and government.

Despite advances in treating other blood cancers, the standard of treatment for AML – a combination of toxic chemotherapies – has remained the same for more than 40 years. Overall prognosis remains poor, with a five-year survival rate below 20 percent for patients over age 60.

In the lead-up to Lung Cancer Awareness Month this November, the ‘future face’ of women’s cancer is being revealed. While new data published last month by Cancer Research UK suggests the number of women dying from breast cancer in the UK is in decline – expected to drop almost 30 percent by 2030 – the number of women dying from lung cancer is on the increase.
Liz Darlison, Macmillan Consultant Nurse Specialist, University Hospitals of Leicester, says, “While the statistics paint a frightening picture, there’s a great deal that can be done to help ensure women are diagnosed earlier, treated earlier and live longer. By raising awareness of the tell-tale signs – for example, a persistent cough that lasts longer than three weeks – there’s the potential to save thousands of lives every year.”

Let’s Win, an initiative supported by the Lustgarten Foundation, launched the Let’s Win! Pancreatic Cancer Survivors video series Friday, January 19, 2018, at the American Society of Clinical Oncology Gastrointestinal Cancers Symposium. The new online video series, featuring long-term pancreatic cancer survivors of all ages and diverse backgrounds, has been created to show pancreatic cancer patients and their families that people do survive this disease. The survivors have responded exceptionally well to pancreatic cancer therapy that incorporates clinical trials and treatments that go beyond traditional protocols.
When patients are first diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, they often turn to the internet, only to find devastating and frightening statistics about the disease. “Our goal is to provide hope and inspiration to patients and their families,” says Cindy Gavin, founding executive director of Let’s Win. “We are so grateful for the incredible vision of one special patient and the generosity of The Flora Family Foundation for their support of this incredible initiative.”

An international survey conducted by GSK and released for World Meningitis Day shows gaps in the knowledge parents feel they have about meningococcal disease and its potential consequences. Almost 7 in 10 parents said they don’t know enough about the different strains of meningococcal disease and the potential damage they can cause. On average, more than half of parents were either unsure or unaware that there are different types of bacteria that cause the disease.
The survey of 5,000 parents in Brazil, Canada, Germany, Italy and Portugal also shows that out of a list of 14 vaccine-preventable diseases, meningococcal disease is considered by many parents to pose a top three health risk to their children. Fifty-seven percent listed meningococcal disease among the top three health conditions they considered of greatest risk to children followed by Hepatitis B at 34 percent, pneumococcal disease at 27 percent, polio at 25 percent, tetanus at 20 percent and pertussis at 17 percent.
A sudden, potentially life-threatening illness, meningococcal disease kills on average one person every eight minutes worldwide. It typically manifests as bacterial meningitis – an infection of the membrane around the brain and spine; or bacteraemia – a bloodstream infection. The disease progresses rapidly and it can lead to death within 24-48 hours of the first symptoms; globally up to 1 in 10 of those infected may die and in the US about 10-15 percent of people will die.

Childhood lead poisoning is considered the most preventable environmental disease among young children, yet nearly one million children are affected. To coincide with National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week (October 21 -27), the Coalition to End Childhood Lead Poisoning, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and the Ad Council are encouraging all families to get their children (ages 0-6) and homes (built before 1978) tested for lead poisoning. To extend this critical health message to caregivers, parents and pregnant women, they redistributed their national Lead Poisoning Prevention public service advertising (PSAs) nationwide.
