Olive Oils from Spain, the promotional brand of the Spanish Olive Oil Interprofessional, in collaboration with the European Union, and guest of honor Seamus Mullen, an award-winning chef, cookbook author, and health & wellness expert, kicked off the U.S. campaign of the “Olive Oil World Tour” at the Cervantes Institute, last night.
“We are thrilled to be in New York City for the North American launch of the ‘Olive Oil World Tour’ campaign with Seamus and dignitaries from the Spanish Government,” said Pedro Barato, President of the Spanish Olive Oil Interprofessional. “The ambitious three-year, multi-channel program was created to encourage wellness-minded individuals to be inspired by the pillar of the Mediterranean lifestyle, olive oil, and who better to exemplify a healthy way of living than Chef Seamus Mullen. Seamus recently came out with a new cook book, ‘Real Food Heals: Eat to Feel Younger + Stronger Every Day.’ In it he uses our beloved millenary juice, olive oil, as a key ingredient in many of his recipes.”

MINI TAKES THE STATES 2018 (MTTS), the eagerly anticipated road rally for MINI owners hosted by MINI USA, kicked off this weekend from two separate locations on opposite sides of the country. Over the next five days, thousands of MINI owners will #DriveForMore to help raise money for charity partner Feeding America.
The two rally routes, each with more than 800 participants, started in Orlando, Fla., and Portland, Ore., on Saturday, July 14, and will meet in the middle at Keystone Report in Keystone, Colo., on July 20 for a weekend celebration of everything MINI. The bi-annual trek will cover more than 5,000 miles in total, traveling across America on state and county roads, stopping in 15 cities along the way.

The Olive Oil World Tour is the brand’s three-year marketing campaign urging international travelers and cooking enthusiasts to join the Mediterranean diet and European healthy lifestyle. At the invitation-only soiree, Olive Oils from Spain joined Seamus, Spanish dignitaries and local media to unveil launch details.
“Given the city’s rich cultural diversity and the exciting position it holds as one of the nation's finest culinary headquarters, it was only natural that our next campaign stop would be Miami,” says Teresa Perez, manager of the Interprofessional of Spanish Olive Oil. “In the first half of 2018, Florida has welcomed over 65 million tourists from across the globe.
