Premium network EPIX will premiere the new Coldplay tour film Live 2012 as an EPIX Original Concert Event in the U.S. on November 17th, followed by the release of the tour film for purchase on November 20th.
Live 2012 documents Coldplay’s acclaimed Mylo Xyloto world tour, which has been seen by more than three million people since it began in June 2011. One in 10 working people surveyed in Europe have taken time off work because of depression, with an average of 36 days lost per episode of depression, according to a new survey from the European Depression Association. This equates to more than 21,000 days of lost working time in this group of people. However despite the size of the problem, nearly one in three managers reported they had no formal support or resources to deal with employees who have depression, and 43% called for better policies and legislation to protect employees.

Domestic violence affects 145 women every hour in the U.S. On average, three women die every day as a result. In an effort to spark life-changing, important conversations on domestic violence actress Rosario Dawson has joined forces with The Allstate Foundation to raise awareness with the Purple Purse campaign. As part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October, The Allstate Foundation has pledged to donate up to $175,000 to the YWCA for programs aimed at helping survivors of domestic violence and other women in need.

The Breitling Jet Team, Breitling Wingwalkers and Yves “Jetman” Rossy are flying East for winter, to bring Breitling’s passions for aviation to new audiences in what is being collectively called “The Breitling Dragon Tour”.
All three teams are heading to Asia to participate in Airshow China 2012, held in Zhuhai, Guangdong province. Although the 1940’s Stearmans of the wingwalking team and Yves Rossy’s Jetwings can all be shipped there in containers, the Breitling Jet Team will have to get there with their own wings. Leaving from Dijon this Tuesday, they will fly through Eastern Europe, into Russia passing through Siberia, then on to Mongolia and down through China to reach their destination by mid-October.

They were joined on October 4 by Parliament funkadelic legend Bootsy Collins and the UMIGO characters at the UMIGO outreach kick-off event held at CMOM. At the event, New York public school children and home schooled children participated in transmedia UMIGO workshops led by DHX Media’s W!LDBRAIN Entertainment, producers of UMIGO, and CMOM. Collins lends his voice to original UMIGO music and appears as an animated character in the music video “Rocket Box.” Together, CMOM and WTTW will continue to expand the program into additional markets over the next three years.
