On April 12th, 2026, He Yong Gan Martial Arts – Shaolin Kung Fu Apeldoorn proudly participated in an international Shou Bo (手搏) competition in Leuven, Belgium. Representing our school was Wesley Broekhuis, who demonstrated determination, technique, and fighting spirit in this exciting Chinese combat sport. Shou Bo is a modern Chinese martial art that combines throws, takedowns, grappling, balance breaking, and practical self-defense skills. It shares many principles with Shuai Jiao (摔跤), China's traditional wrestling art. This event brought together martial artists from various countries and provided an excellent opportunity to gain experience, test skills, and promote Chinese martial arts on an international stage. At He Yong Gan Martial Arts, we believe martial arts are about more than competition. Training develops confidence, discipline, respect, perseverance, and self-defense skills that can benefit practitioners throughout their lives. Huawei has officially opened its first dedicated Middle East Customer Service Center located in Dubai, UAE, further demonstrating its commitment to investment in the region.
