Disney overtook Apple for the first time in MBLM’s Brand Intimacy 2019 Study, which is the largest study of brands based on emotions. The two were followed by Amazon, which came in third. The top 10 was also increasingly dominated by media & entertainment brands, comprising four out of the 10, up from three last year. The remaining brands in the top 10 were: Chevrolet, Netflix, Harley-Davidson, PlayStation, YouTube, Ford and Chick-fil-A. Brand Intimacy is defined as the emotional science that measures the bonds we form with the brands we use and love. Today, Chick-fil-A® launches Chick-fil-A One ™ – a mobile app that gives customers a new way to experience Chick-fil-A. The app is designed to give customers more choices to better meet their needs, including the ability to customize their meal, order and pay in advance and skip the line at the register, speeding up the process of waiting at the counter or drive-thru. According to a recent survey commissioned by Chick-fil-A, 82 percent of millennial parents say they would do almost anything to avoid long lines at fast food restaurants when they are with their children.
