New York based Aways Away definitely has a unique sound that is best described as punk/indie rock. We caught up with them at their show at Webster Hall in NYC and got the scoop.
Lead singer, Evan De Augustinis feels he was meant for the industry, “I’ve been playing music my whole life, I grew up with music, my father played in bands his whole life…music is in my blood,” he says.
So where does the inspiration come from?
“These are crazy times that we’re living in, so it’s not hard to make it into a song.”

Fifteen of 17 booster seats introduced in 2012 earn the top rating of BEST BET from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, evidence that more than ever, manufacturers are designing seats to provide good safety belt fit for booster-age children.
The improvements mean that BEST BET boosters now outnumber seats in any of the three other categories for the first time since the Institute released its inaugural booster ratings in 2008. Volvo Car Corporation is now ramping up production of the new Volvo V60 Plug-in Hybrid. After the initial batch of 1,000 model year 2013 cars, production will increase to 4,000–6,000 cars as of model year 2014.
The assembly of the world’s first diesel plug-in hybrid has been successfully integrated on the same line as the company’s other models at the Torslanda plant in Gothenburg.
