What could an 87-year-young great-grandmother, a deaf dance instructor, and the Smirnoff ICE™ brand have in common? They are determined to showcase how the world can become more inclusive through the platforms of dance and music with the launch of its Smirnoff ICE Electric Flavors line and the ‘Keep It Moving’ campaign. Stemming from festival insights that adult music fans often have to choose between the dance floor and a beverage, Smirnoff ICE introduces its new line of flavored malt beverages (FMB) Smirnoff ICE Electric Flavors meant for fun, high-energy occasions. This new beverage option is non-carbonated so it will not weigh consumers down and packaged in a re-sealable plastic bottle so that consumers won’t have to make the choice between flavor and fun. To launch the product, Smirnoff ICE has created the Keep it Moving campaign that shines a light on two inspirational movers: 87-year-old Instagram sensation and festival lover, Baddie Winkle (@baddiewinkle), and London-based deaf dance instructor, Chris Fonseca. After successful exploration runs in 2013 and 2015 the Dutch polar cruise company Oceanwide Expeditions has announced two new expeditions to the Ross Sea in 2017. The ice-strengthened vessel “Ortelius” will be accommodated with helicopters for the two Antarctica cruises, sailing from the South-American continent to the Antarctic Peninsula, crossing the Polar Circle, further west to Peter I Island, sailing in the Bellingshausen sea along the ice-edge of “deep Antarctica” into the Ross Sea. The voyage continues to the uninhabited sub-Antarctic Campbell Island and ends after 32 days in New Zealand. The second cruise offers the same itinerary, but in reverse. The Ross Sea Challenge The Ross Sea region of Antarctica has always presented a dream but also a challenge to visit to explorers. The Ross Ice Shelf prevents a full seasonal operation and distances are enormous. Apart from the extremes, landing sites are still difficult to reach. “With the advantages of the “Ortelius” in combination with the use of helicopters, our travelers are having some great opportunities exploring Antarctica’s most fascinating sites”, says CEO Michel van Gessel. Make sure you do your research before posting non-sensical comments! EMs a great rapper, but lacks example and if you look deeper he is simply about money...at any cost! Women, Kids, Family, Friends...all targets! He preys on the weak and wants no part of a true solidier! And for the record this is hardly a diss.
