Global superstar and Grammy award winner Enrique Iglesias will perform LIVE for The Salvation Army’s 15th annual Red Kettle Kickoff during halftime of the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Day game against the Miami Dolphins at 3:15 CST on the CBS television network. The nationally televised performance launches The Salvation Army’s 120th annual Red Kettle Campaign, which began on the wharf in San Francisco in 1891 and has spread worldwide to raise money for people in need. In an effort to raise awareness about the dropout crisis and inspire individuals to “Boost” (support) students in their communities, the U.S. Army and the Ad Council are unveiling a new series of public service advertisements (PSAs), created pro bono by advertising agency Publicis New York.

The U.S. Army and the Ad Council today unveiled a new television public service announcement (PSA) featuring NBA All-Star LeBron James designed to highlight the dropout crisis in America and encourage adults nationwide to motivate and inspire students in their communities. In an effort to promote science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education, the U.S. Army announced today that it has named the 2010 eCYBERMISSION national first-place teams.
