On Thursday, July 28, the Estate of Michael Jackson teamed up with Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soleil and Mandalay Bay to pay tribute to the King of Pop as they unveiled his iconic HIStory Statue. Featured on the cover of his world-famous album HIStory: Past, Present and Future Book 1, which became the best selling multiple disc album worldwide, the HIStory Statue is the third piece of memorabilia to be loaned by the Estate for display on the Mandalay Bay property.
The highly anticipated unveiling ceremony took place in the Main Lobby of Mandalay Bay, where fans had the opportunity to witness the live reveal of this historic sculpture. To welcome the piece, members from the cast of Michael Jackson ONE delivered a never-before-seen performance created especially for this event, dazzling the audience as they performed to “SCREAM,” the first single from the HIStory album. Following the performance, fans were able to meet and take photos with those cast members.

KitchenAid is unveiling a new, three-door free standing refrigerator that is the largest capacity refrigerator in its class*. Available in three models, the 72’’ Counter-Depth French Door Bottom Mount refrigerator features a slide-away split shelf that allows three quarters of the shelf to retract to accommodate taller items, up to 16.75 inches. According to a recent survey, active adults aren’t slowing down. The survey found that 62 percent of adults ages 30-49 continue to work out as much – and with the same or more intensity – as they did in their 20s. Nintex, the recognized global leader in workflow and content automation (WCA), today released a new study revealing the top five most broken processes in American workplaces and how they contribute to employee satisfaction and performance.
The study, called the “Definitive Guide to America’s Most Broken Processes,” found that a third of employees at U.S. companies (with more than 1,000 employees) are currently looking for new jobs, with the vast majority (86 percent) citing their company’s broken processes as a driving factor behind this decision. One commonality found in the research is that the top five issues are unspecialized, repetitive tasks that fall in the long tail of business processes, which must be automated to drive efficiency, efficacy and employee satisfaction.

In an appliance industry first, LG Electronics transformed its LG InstaView™ refrigerators into musical instruments as part of a series of surprise musical performances for thousands of consumers at Westfield World Trade Center in the Oculus – one of the nation’s busiest transit and shopping destinations. The performance kicked off with two knocks on the LG InstaView refrigerator’s unique glass panel, which triggered musical renditions of pop songs featuring choreographed routines from performers dressed as everyday passersby, entertaining commuters and shoppers.

A year ago, Falaniko Penesa, 26, of Upolu, Apia, Samoa, finished second in the World Fireknife Championship, losing out to five-time champion Mikaele Oloa of Waialua, Hawaii.
Penesa spent the past year “practicing every day to make my moves flow” and the hard work paid off, as he won the 25th Annual World Fireknife Championship on Saturday night (May 13), beating out Oloa by one point on the combined scorecards of the seven judges. Kepanipaa Damaso of Waikoloa, Hawaii finished third.
Penesa, who performs at Hong Kong Disneyland, dazzled the sold-out crowd at the Polynesian Cultural Center’s Pacific Theater with an amazing routine that had him spinning, twirling and juggling one and two fireknives at lightning-fast speed, often behind his back and overhead.
