On Monday, September 29, The AIRMALL at Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) joined Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald and the Allegheny County Airport Authority (ACAA) for FLY2014, a special event that marked the 15th anniversary of the ACAA and celebrated the completion of a $10 million renovation that created a new retail core in the Center Core of the airport’s airside terminal. In celebration of giving away $1 million a week at its Tunica, Mississippi, casinos beginning next Saturday, Caesars Entertainment, with the assistance of illusionist Rob Lake, Friday night made an Armored Truck appear in the courtyard of FedExForum in Memphis, Tenn., just a few feet off world-famous Beale Street. As the number of people living with Alzheimer’s disease soars, so does the number of family caregivers. Over 15 million people are taking care of loved ones with dementia in the home, according to the Alzheimer’s Association. Sixty percent say the emotional stress is high and more than a third report depression symptoms. To help, Brookdale is offering a free webinar for family caregivers during November, National Alzheimer’s Awareness Month.
