Having lost his mother to the disease, singer, songwriter Gavin DeGraw knows firsthand how devastating pancreatic cancer is for patients and their families. Gavin is turning his grief into action by helping the Lustgarten Foundation raise awareness by encouraging people to get involved with the Foundation.
“My mother didn’t make it and unfortunately right now that’s a common story. But it doesn’t have to be the story permanently,” DeGraw said. “By funding research, the Lustgarten Foundation is going to change the course of this disease. I encourage everyone to get involved in some way – join a walk or make a donation.”

Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Meghan Trainor takes the stage today at AT&T Stadium to kick off The Salvation Army's 128th annual Red Kettle Campaign. Her live nationally televised halftime performance during the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Day game against the Washington Redskins will air on Fox.
“Watching football together is a huge tradition for my family, even more so on Thanksgiving, so it's surreal to be able to perform today,” said Trainor. “The fact that this is helping raise awareness for The Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign makes it even sweeter.”

What can I say about this one that I haven't said before? ....... "SCOOBY DOOBY DOO DOOWAH" ..... I don't think that I've ever said that before on any of my prior songs ..... Maybe I said "Zippity Doo Da" or "Yabba Dabba Doo." ...... What I did do this time was to sneakily rip a vocal line off of a marvelous singer going by the name of Isabella Peter Blue "No relationship to Little Boy Blue" and inserted her voice into this song ..... I've had the idea for this song since the day of the terrorist attacks in Paris but I couldn't find the time to actually work on it until recently as I've limited my amount of video watching here temporarily on Youtube. It was the only way for me to get this done. I wanted to have this song and video uploaded well before Christmas and so I had to rush this composition more so than with any other previous song I've ever written. I haven't even tested it out in my friend's car to hear it through his stereo as my main concern is always in the vocal quality here. The instrumental sections were very complex and I was making up those parts as I was going and they all seem to be fine as far as composition goes. I wish to especially thank Bethany Ann Meyer who gave me that little extra incentive that I needed to get this song finished. She's a gifted singer and a real sweetheart. Last night, MGM Resorts International celebrated the milestone grand opening of its newest live entertainment venue on the Las Vegas Strip – Park Theater at Monte Carlo Resort and Casino. The dazzling theater came to life with inaugural performances by legendary singer-songwriter Stevie Nicks and renowned rock group The Pretenders.
The evening began with an unforgettable performance by The Pretenders, wowing guests with rousing renditions of their most beloved songs including “I’ll Stand By You” and “Back On the Chain Gang.” Then, prior to taking the stage, Nicks was presented with an honorary key to the theater and commemorated the unveiling of the venue by autographing a backstage wall, starting a tradition for all Park Theater performers to come.
