Nach eigenem Bekunden wollen die Wolfsburger aber nicht nur in Sachen Zulassungen und Umsatz weltweit die Nummer eins werden. Building on the results of the largest behaviour change study on physical activity, Vitality and its global network of insurers have collectively committed to improving the health of millions over the next seven years. This is in line with the World Health Organizations’ Global Action Plan on Physical Activity, which aims to address the dramatic growth in lifestyle diseases, caused in part by a lack of exercise.
Incentives and Physical Activity, conducted by leading independent research institute, RAND Europe, found an average 34% increase in activity levels of participants using Vitality Active Rewards with Apple Watch. When asked how they feel about mixing their work and personal lives, 58% of Generation Mobile workers feel guilty, according to new research from MobileIron. The MobileIron Gen M Survey, a global study of more than 3,500 full- and part-time professionals who use a mobile device for work, highlights an emerging demographic in the workplace: Generation Mobile or “Gen M.” The study found that Gen M, which is composed of mobile workers who are either men age 18-34 or people with children under age 18 in their households, relies more heavily on mobile technologies than the general population to mix their work and personal activities.

In total over 6,300 delegates from nearly 3,000 companies in the global duty free & travel retail industry attended the annual trade show which took place in the Palais des Festivals, Cannes from Sunday 20th to Friday 25th October. VW schließt damit als erster Autohersteller einen Kreis, der - innerhalb einer Baureihe - alle heute relevanten Antriebssysteme - Benziner und Diesel, Erdgas-Variante, Plug-in-Hybrid (GTE) und reiner Elektroantrieb - beinhaltet. Der potentielle Käufer hat also die Qual der Wahl, wobei der neue Stromer es am schwersten haben dürfte. 34.900 Euro sind schließlich ein Wort und auch die noch mangelhafte Ladestationen-Infrastruktur dürfte sich auf die Verkaufslust auswirken. Daran ändert auch nichts, dass der Stromer mit seinem niedrigen Verbrauchswert von 12,7 kWh/100 km mit den Energiekosten knausert und damit im Alltag den Geldbeutel schont - pro 100 Kilometer fallen lediglich 3,28 Euro an. While the state of the economy and high unemployment are still top of mind for most Americans, it is the majority of the country’s young adults—not their parents—who are more optimistic and determined to improve their personal finances in 2011. In fact, while one in four Americans set a personal financial goal as their main New Year’s resolution, four in five Americans – including 98% of Americans aged 18-34 – indicated they will try to save more money and three in five will try to develop a budget in 2011.

Saxo Bank’s operating income increased 6% in 2011 to reach DKK 3.53 billion, compared to DKK 3.34 billion in 2010. The Bank continued to invest in developing the business which meant that staff costs and administrative expenses increased 12%. Thus, net profit was DKK 618 million, down 4% from the previous record year. EBITDA of DKK 1.16 billion increased 4% compared to 2010.
