In this video, Houston accident attorney Tony Denena discusses the
severity of injuries sustained from an accident with a large truck or
18-wheeler. The common causes of 18-wheeler accidents are driver
fatigue, driver inattention, and driver neglect. In a recent 18 wheeler
accident case handled by Denena and Points, the driver rear ended a car
on a Houston highway and due to his neglect to secure his load, the car
caught on fire and the passenger in the back seat of the vehicle struck
was severly injured. Our Houston personal injury attorneys successfully
recovered damages for the accident victims. For more information on 18
wheeler accident claims in Texas, order our FREE guide available on our

The aluminum-body 2015 Ford F-150 crew cab swept the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s full slate of crashworthiness evaluations to qualify for a 2015 TOP SAFETY PICK award. The F-150 extended cab turned in a good performance in 4 of 5 assessments but stumbled in the small overlap front test. The results are the first ratings for large pickups in a group the Institute is evaluating this year.
The F-150 crew cab, which Ford calls the SuperCrew, earns good ratings for occupant protection in all five IIHS crashworthiness evaluations — small overlap front, moderate overlap front, side, roof strength and head restraint evaluations. The extended cab, or SuperCab, earns good ratings in the moderate overlap front, side, roof strength and head restraint evaluations but just a marginal rating for occupant protection in a small overlap front crash.
New York is a city of superlatives. Especially for international artists trying to make it. To help give these talents a chance, local art institutions are often supported by large corporations. The Volkswagen Group of America is one of them – and has renewed its commitment to the world famous Museum of Modern Art for a further two years.

The Island of Bantayan in Northern Cebu in the Philippines watched their country’s boxing hero Manny Pacquiao fight against Floyd Mayweather, Jr. during a live public screening on the island, which brought boundless inspiration to many who were still recovering from the effects of Typhoon Haiyan which struck the Philippines in late 2013.
The public screening on the island was made possible with the effort of a large British life insurance company operating in the country in its bid to bring inspiration to the typhoon survivors. The screening was for the first time held simultaneously in Santa Fe, Bantayan and Madridejos municipalities on Bantayan Island.

Living Off the Grid - http://www.thriveoffthegrid.com/ - See how others are living offgrid using the advantages of wind and solar energy plus more for off grid power and ...
Living off the grid you must take advantage of renewable energy. This renewable resource originates from several sources, consisting of sun, wind and water, to start with ...
Researchers are constantly on the lookout for more ways of making green energy. Here are the 2 types you must understand now.
Living off the Grid: - Advantages of Solar Power
i. The energy that originates from simply one hour of sun suffices to supply energy for a year for the whole world
ii. A battery can be used to store off grid solar power for evenings and cloudy days
iii. Solar panels on a roof work when the sun's rays strike the cells in the panel and electrons are released, producing energy
iv. Using solar power will typically provide a saving of $100+ each month on utility costs for the property owners of off grid homes .
Living off the Grid: - Advantages of Wind Energy
i. When wind goes through the blades of a turbine that is connected to a generator, the energy produced by the spin is converted into electrical energy
ii. A single large wind turbine can provide electricity for around 500 off grid homes
iii. Last year, 42 % of the houses that were geared up with a source of off grid power used wind
iv. Unlike most other sources of energy, wind utilizes hardly any water; not only is wind energy carbon neutral, it helps water conservation also
v. There is around 10 times the amount of wind available in the U.S. than is needed to supply power for the whole country
vi. Wind energy is presently the fastest-growing source of renewable energy: - Around two wind farms are set up weekly in the U.S.
For living off the grid, the facts indicate that the advantages of solar power combined with the advantages of wind energy now exceed any advantages that fossil fuels may have had. However it is probably down to individuals to begin the shift to a larger scale adoption, so that we may all enjoy living off the grid.
