Outdated beachfront properties are transformed into hot commodities in HGTV’s newest renovation competition series, Beach Flip. Premiering on Sunday, July 5, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, HGTV and DIY Network stars Nicole Curtis (Rehab Addict), Josh Temple (House Crashers) and David Bromstad (My Lottery Dream Home) act as hosts, judges and mentors to four rival teams as they compete to renovate rundown waterfront bungalows with outdated décor, loud wall colors and awkward layouts into spectacular properties in just eight weeks. The team with the highest increase in property value as determined by the region’s top appraisers wins the $50,000 grand prize and a spread in HGTV Magazine.

Harbor Shores, Lake Michigan’s resort destination and waterfront community in Benton Harbor and St. Joseph, Michigan, today announced plans for the opening of its seventh and largest neighborhood, Harbor Village. Inspired by the character of historic St. Joseph, Michigan, with front porches and waterfront views, Harbor Village offers a variety of housing options, ranging from townhomes to single-family homes, and will open to residents in summer 2017.
Tucked between downtown St. Joseph and the Benton Harbor Arts District, Harbor Village sits on 11 acres of land at the confluence of the Paw Paw River and the St. Joseph River, which serves the commercial and recreational harbor into Lake Michigan.

Al Maryah Island hosted Abu Dhabi’s biggest New Year’s Eve celebration, a spectacular evening of music and fireworks. Thousands of families and friends filled the island’s waterfront Promenade where they enjoyed an electrifying concert with Emirati star Hussain Al Jassmi, Egyptian pop sensation Mohamed Hamaki, and winner of Arab Idol 2015, Mohammed Assaf.
More than 10,000 people enjoyed hearing their favourite songs performed during the five-hour show, which culminated in an exhilarating midnight countdown, followed by a breath-taking firework display.
The evening was a landmark occasion in Al Maryah Island’s colourful events calendar and was staged through a partnership between Mubadala and Platinum Records, the leading record label company which operates under the umbrella of MBC Group.
