Allied Universal, a leading facility services company and the largest security force in North America, together with John Jay College and the Metropolitan Healthcare Security Directors Association (MHSDA), will host a “Plan to Live” seminar to educate healthcare providers on best practices to handle an active shooter situation and other threats. The free seminar will be held Tues., May 16, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the college’s Moot Court at 899 10th Avenue, New York City. “Active shooters are not the only risks that healthcare facilities face,” said Kevin Francis, Business Development Specialist, Allied Universal. “Healthcare facilities may encounter aggressive assailants, bomb threats, and terrorist attacks.
