When a serious illness enters a family's life, there are many questions to ask and decisions to make. It is important to answer these questions quickly. The process can seem overwhelming. However, hospice care can be a wonderful resource for information about symptom management and comfort care. Hospice care professionals are available to help assess goals, pain management and care options during the decision-making process. Are your symptoms minimal or moderate? Are these symptoms just starting to affect your life? If you want to continue treatment but also need comfort and symptom management, palliative care (often called comfort care) maybe an option. Palliative care is patient and family-centered care that optimizes quality of life by anticipating, preventing and treating suffering. Palliative care specialists address the physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of patients and families, making sure they have access to all the information about the disease progression and the choices ahead. A patient can receive palliative care in conjunction with other treatments or therapies. On Wednesday, April 6, Viva® Brand teamed up with Hollywood actress and home/ DIY expert, Monica Potter, to host a dramatic clean-up benefitting Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Ventura. The event, held at Avenue Thrift & Vintage Store in Ventura, CA, demonstrated how Viva® Towels can transform used, forgotten items with just a thorough cleaning. Donated household items ranging from kitchen appliances to outdoor patio furniture were expertly cleaned with the unique textures of Viva® Towels and then donated to 22 deserving families across the Ventura community. The effort jumpstarts a national push to “Unleash Clean” across the country. Potter served as the Captain of the Viva® Clean Squad, motivating over 40 volunteers to “Unleash Clean” by scrubbing, polishing and shining up donated items from the kitchen, bathroom, living room and patio, showcasing the strength and durability of the towels. Viva® offers a choice of two types of everyday towels that work like cloth to stand up to any cleaning job in your home. Viva® Vantage® has a scrubby texture, great for shining stainless steel appliances and scrubbing grime off stovetops or patio furniture, while Viva® Towels have a signature soft and smooth texture for cleaning surfaces like countertops and coffee tables. To ensure a green event and minimize waste, Viva® Towels partnered with the City of Ventura to use natural household and eco-friendly cleaners so the towels could be composted afterwards. DEIMOS-2, Spain's first ultra-high resolution satellite launched into orbit on 19 June, has started capturing its first images just 12 hours after it was brought on line. DEIMOS-2, which was launched from the launch site at Yasny (Russia), was developed by Elecnor Deimos in a record time of just three years. The company built an innovative Satellite Integration and Operations Centre in Puertollano (Spain) to assemble and subsequently control DEIMOS-2. As a result, this project completes Elecnor Deimos' presence in the entire value chain for space missions. Elecnor Deimos has the capability to manage entire space programs: design, integrate, validate, launch and operate Earth observation satellites; use them for commercial purposes and develop them for third parties. https://youtu.be/nBx4b8mXtd4 It’s not just the times that change, it’s the customer, too. If you’re using only old marketing tactics from 2000, or even 2012, you’re on the wrong track. Customers are evolving, and so are their needs. Fail to meet their needs, fail to get their cash. We’ve collected relevant articles, statistics and survey results that clearly illustrate what customers want, and how you can give them what they want, quickly and easily.

The UNCF in partnership with the Ad Council, announced today the launch of Better Futures, a national multimedia public service effort that will build on their 41-year old campaign to help African American students get to and through college. Created pro bono by Y&R, new Better Futures PSAs transform the idea of donating to a cause to a more powerful idea of investing in the future, including the introduction of a stock for social change, where people can see the direct social return of their investment. Economists were consulted for the campaign and developed an algorithm to show the social return of donating just $10 to UNCF, including the impact on earnings, crime savings and health savings. In order to succeed in today’s B2B sales world, salespeople must create buyer consensus among diverse customer stakeholders. Those who fail to do that risk falling victim to the status-quo – the minimal-risk, lowest-cost option – or worse, losing the deal altogether. The Challenger Customer: Selling to the Hidden Influencer Who Can Multiply Your Results from CEB (NYSE: CEB), a best practice insight and technology company, reveals that it isn’t just about how you engage, but who you engage within the customer organization that drives complex sales today. “The ‘senior decision-maker’ no longer exists in B2B sales. That makes the most significant problem facing marketing and sales teams a buying problem, not a selling problem. Organizations need to shift their focus from making the sale to understanding buyer groups – and who among them really shapes decisions,” said co-author Brent Adamson, executive advisor at CEB. “Our research shows that the one thing that matters most to executives is whether or not a supplier has buy-in with the rest of the organization – NOT the supplier’s actual offering or solution.” To view the multimedia release go to: http://www.multivu.com/players/English/7427252-ceb-the-challenger-customer/

As soon as I started to form lyrics for this song, my first thought was "I bet that Reekashade will love this .... therefore I'll dedicate this song to him" ... Reeka is an outstanding singer and exquisite gentleman who has supported me as I have supported him far before the Google era of Youtube which makes him a valuable commodity to me here as most who I've known since that time have either jumped ship or have become too big here to even acknowledge me further ..... "even though I'm still better than they could ever be in their wildest dreams" ...... Did I just say that? ...... Oh no .... That was my goldfish, Sid .... He always feed's my ego when he want's me to feed him back .... Here is Reeka's channel https://www.youtube.com/user/reekashade Thanks so much bro for being who you are. LYRICS: When I look out my window yeah, I can clearly see peace and love as the wind blow's love across the sea. And as I step out my doorway I can take this love in my hand. Hold it close to my heart and soul and share the love across this land.

Federally funded research continues to spur progress against cancer; however, accelerating the pace of progress will require robust, sustained, and predictable annual funding increases for the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the National Cancer Institute (NCI), and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Additionally, strong financial support for the National Cancer Moonshot Initiative is required, according to the sixth annual American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Cancer Progress Report, released today. One of the most exciting new approaches to cancer treatment is cancer immunotherapy. As detailed in the report, the utility of immunotherapy is expanding rapidly. For example, on Aug. 1, 2015, one class of immunotherapeutics, checkpoint inhibitors, was initially approved for just two types of cancer—melanoma and lung cancer. As of Sept. 1, 2016, checkpoint inhibitors have been approved for treating six types of cancer—bladder cancer, head and neck cancer, Hodgkin lymphoma, kidney cancer, lung cancer, and melanoma.
