Seasoned business man Bill Foley, Hockey Vision Las Vegas and community leaders have joined together to launch a season ticket drive in support of bringing an NHL team to Las Vegas. Tickets will go on sale at www.VegasWantsHockey.com at 1:30 p.m. PST on Tuesday, Feb. 10.
“The goal of the season ticket drive is to demonstrate the long-term viability of an NHL franchise in Las Vegas, and prove that our community, without question, can support a team,” said Foley. “I think this team will not only bring Las Vegas the excitement of its first major league sports franchise, it will bring renewed enthusiasm to the Las Vegas youth – developing and impacting them in a positive way.”

In a football pitch on June 20th, social media stars Iza and Elle from Sweden set a new world record on having the largest number of girls dancing in one Musical.ly video with a little help from their friends. Co-hosting the event was IFK Stocksund, the local football club where Iza and Elle are playing. To achieve this, they had gathered their friends from the football team as well as fans from their social media platforms.

The George H.W. Bush Vamos a Pescar™ Education Fund was founded by RBFF in 2014, with an initial $125,000 donation by Bass Pro Shops Founder and CEO Johnny Morris, in honor of President George H.W. Bush’s milestone 90th birthday. The mission of the Education Fund is to bring hands-on fishing and boating experiences, along with conservation activities, to Hispanic families across the United States. After a highly successful inaugural event in 2014, Red Bull Straight Rhythm will return for a second consecutive year at Fairplex at Pomona, CA. A historic day for AC Milan and Milan. Fondazione Fiera has decided that the winning project for the redevelopment of the old trade fair is the one of AC Milan. The project, which was presented along with Arup in January, envisions the construction of one of the most innovative stadiums in the world, open to the city and extremely functional. The world’s first entertainment centre dedicated to football will be built in Rio de Janeiro. It will be constructed in the form of a huge football and be in continuous motion, changing shape constantly.

The USGA and The R&A have unveiled a preview of proposed new Rules of Golf, as part of a joint initiative to modernize the Rules and make them easier to understand and apply.
The online release of this preview begins a six-month feedback and evaluation period during which all golfers worldwide can learn about the proposed changes and provide input before they are finalized in 2018 and take effect January 1, 2019.
The announcement follows a comprehensive review process that began in 2012 with a working group of key USGA and R&A Rules administrators, professional tour officials and other Rules experts. While the Rules are revised every four years, this is the first fundamental review since 1984, and was established to ensure the Rules fit the needs of today’s game and the way it is played around the world.
