Como parte del inicio de la segunda temporada de la exitosa Súper Serie “Señora Acero”, TELEMUNDO tendrá una “Noche de Acero” este martes, 22 de septiembre. La gran noche comienza a las 7pm/6c con el especial de Noticias Telemundo “Las mujeres del narco”, un programa en el que se investigó el papel de la mujer en el mundo del narcotráfico. A las 8pm/7c TELEMUNDO emitirá un resumen de dos horas sobre la primera temporada que ayudará a la audiencia a revivir acontecimientos importantes de la trama antes del gran estreno a las 10pm/9c. Por primera vez en la historia de la cadena, el estreno será en simultáneo a través de la televisión, Video On Demand, Telemundo.com, Twitter, Periscope y YouTube.
La historia que convirtió a “Señora Acero” en un fenómeno de audiencia, alcanzando los primeros lugares de rating en la historia del canal, es protagonizada por Blanca Soto y cuenta con un elenco de estrellas que participaron en la primera temporada como Litzy, Lincoln Palomeque, José Luis Reséndez, Jorge Zárate, Aurora Gil, Alejandro Calva, Valentina Acosta, Alberto Agnesi, Alejandro García, Andy Zuno, Luciana Silveyra, y Sergio Lozano. The acrobatic spectacular Zarkana by Cirque du Soleil unveiled its amped up production, including an artistic transformation and a remastered soundtrack, to a packed audience Friday, Feb. 28 at ARIA Resort & Casino. The show capped off its reimagined return today with the introduction of the show’s new aerial straps act. Aerialists Andrew and Kevin Atherton thrilled spectators as they performed outside ARIA’s porte cochere, while suspended 32’ in the air.

On Saturday, May 21, some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry celebrated the 90th birthday of the legendary Tony Bennett at Keep Memory Alive’s 20th annual Power of Love® gala at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The star-studded event raised funds and awareness for Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health and its fight against brain disease including Alzheimer’s, Huntington’s and Parkinson’s diseases, multiple sclerosis and multiple system atrophy.
Highlights from the night included a performance by honoree Tony Bennett and heartfelt tributes by James Corden, Andra Day, Herbie Hancock, Darius Rucker, Jordin Sparks, Steven Tyler and more. Day kicked off the show with her rendition of “Steppin’ Out With My Baby,” while Corden performed his version of “Don’t Get Around Much More.” Later in the evening, Sparks teamed up with pianist Dan Orlando to perform a medley of hits including “The Best Is Yet To Come,” “Alright OK You Win” and “It Don’t Mean A Thing.” Rucker treated guests to hit single “Sunny Side of The Street,” before Hancock took the stage to perform “Chameleon” and “Cantaloupe Island.” Tyler joined the elite ensemble to perform “Smile” with jazz trumpeter Chris Botti before singing Aerosmith classic “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing.” The man of the evening, Bennett, performed numerous hits including “Watch What Happens” and “How Do You Keep The Music Playing.” To close the show, the entire cast sang Bennett “Happy Birthday” and presented him with a celebratory cake. In addition to musical icons, celebrity supporters who also attended the event included Quincy Jones, Brad Garrett, Steve Schirripa and Chazz Palminteri.

On Thursday night, Feb. 26, at midnight, the Las Vegas Strip welcomed its newest outdoor entertainment spectacle: the Swarovski Midnight Celebration at Grand Bazaar Shops. Created for Swarovski’s custom pavilion and six-story-tall Starburst, the Swarovski Midnight Celebration was designed to be the centerpiece of the new Grand Bazaar Shops, providing a unique retail and entertainment experience.
The Swarovski Midnight Celebration is a dazzling three-minute-long light-and-sound show designed to mark the dawn of a new day. The spectacle was envisioned as a way to bring New Year’s Eve-style excitement to the Strip every night of the year. The production incorporates the Swarovski Starburst—a one-of-a-kind, 14-foot-diameter structure composed of 911 custom-cut Swarovski crystal spheres—as well as a large video screen embedded into the multi-faceted façade of the Swarovski pavilion. Evocative scenes from exotic bazaars, together with the Starburst’s more than 1,800 points of LED light, are choreographed to a dramatic original score featuring enchanting beats of world music.
