Each year, Cantor Fitzgerald and BGC Partners donate 100% of the global revenues generated on Charity Day to the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund, and to date has raised approximately $137 million globally since its inception.

Ashok Leyland, flagship of the Hinduja Group, today received the prestigious 2016 Deming Prize for its Pantnagar manufacturing facility. The Deming Prize is a global quality award and is the oldest and most widely recognized quality award in the world. This prize is awarded to companies that have established Total Quality Management (TQM) in their business operations. Ashok Leyland Pantnagar has become the first truck and bus plant in the world and also the only CV manufacturer outside of Japan to win the Deming Prize.

St. Petersburg International Economic Forum was held, bringing together more than 12,000 participants from 133 countries, including media representatives and business and government delegations. On June 16, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office, and Chairman of the SPIEF Organizing Committee Sergei Prikhodko gave a welcome address at the official opening of the Forum. Volvo Cars, the premium car maker, will work together with Microsoft, the leading platform and productivity company, to jointly develop next generation automotive technologies.
The two companies today revealed how Microsoft HoloLens, the world’s first fully untethered holographic computer, might be used in future to redefine how customers first encounter and explore a car, as well as how cars might be bought and sold in future.
Areas of future collaboration between the two companies could include autonomous driving technologies and the utilisation of data generated from connected cars to create new services.
Today’s HoloLens demonstration was conducted at Microsoft’s global headquarters in Redmond, USA, and showed how mixed reality might be used by customers to configure cars in three dimensions. With HoloLens, a powerful, wearable computer, holograms are mixed into the physical world.

Baidu-Input has recently added a translation function supporting 28 languages, not to mention simultaneous translation of Chinese, English, and Japanese. This app has become a hot commodity throughout America within a short period of time.
Baidu-Input is an innovative product created by one of China's largest internet companies, Baidu. The mobile app has amassed over 1,600 million daily active users. Users evaluated and tested the translation function of the latest Android 7.6 version of this product; it fares well against the competition.
