Alex Emanuel, a lifelong Rolling Stones fan was left feeling like a rock star when he met his heroes while touring Exhibitionism - the first exhibition on The Rolling Stones held at London’s Saatchi Gallery until 4 September. New Yorker Alex was genuinely shocked when he turned round after a tap on the arm to be met by Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood, whilst enjoying the Recording Gallery within the critically acclaimed, blockbuster exhibition. As Alex exchanged handshakes and back slaps with his heroes, he said afterwards: “It’s going to sound silly but for a moment I thought I was a member of the Rolling Stones. It’s not every day you get to meet your idols.” Unlocking their vast archive, Exhibitionism is a Rolling Stones treasure trove, curated over 9 themed gallery spaces with 500 items from original stage costumes, rare instruments and lyric books, backstage and touring paraphernalia, album art, photography, stage designs, personal diaries and never before released audio and behind-the-scenes footage. For six weeks this spring, the America's PrepareAthon! Campaign and other preparedness partners will focus on different hazards and provide simple actions that people and communities should take to prepare for each particular hazard. This fifth week highlights hurricanes. Individuals, communities, businesses, schools, and houses of worship around the country are holding preparedness discussions, conducting drills, and taking specific steps to prepare for hurricanes. People who live in hurricane-prone coastal areas should know their vulnerability to wind and flooding, as well as what to do to reduce the effects of both. People who live inland from coastal areas may also experience high winds, power outages, and flooding from torrential rain. Protecting yourself today means having sources for information, preparing your home and workplace, developing an emergency communication plan, and knowing what to do when a hurricane is approaching your community. What happens when Pitch Perfect actress Brittany Snow uses her charm to talk sunscreen? Shoppers end up singing a different tune than what they expected. Snow, the new face of Coppertone® CLEARLYSheer®, helps prove that trusted protection doesn’t have to come in a tiny bottle with a fancy price tag. Through hidden cameras, she delights shoppers with Coppertone® CLEARLYSheer®, the breathable and light daily sunscreen that’s perfect for everyday protection. Most people don’t expect a luxurious moisturizing sunscreen to come from Coppertone®. To help them understand it is possible, the brand masked CLEARLYSheer® as Le Clair, a non-existent new prestige sunscreen. Coppertone® then teamed up with Brittany to encourage shoppers to test the face-friendly product on their skin. While they unknowingly applied Coppertone® CLEARLYSheer®, they continually complimented its clean and lightweight formula. At the end, the product is revealed to be from Coppertone®! Is their reaction good or bad? Check out the video to see what shoppers had to say following the reveal! Are they pleasantly surprised? Did Brittany sell it in? You’ll have to watch the video to find out. To view the multimedia release go to: http://www.multivu.com/players/English/7829551-coppertone-clearlysheer-brittany-snow/
