Bizler Türkiyeli ateistler olarak dinlerin, insanların geçmiş zamanlardaki doğayı anlama ve anlamlandırma çabası olduğunu ve herhangi bir objektif kanıta dayanmayan bu doğaüstü iddialara şartlanmışlığın aşılması gerektiğini düşünüyoruz.
Dinlere ve diğer doğaüstü kavramlara inanmasak da bizler her bireyin inanç özgürlüğüne saygı duyuyoruz. İnanç özgürlüğüne saygı duymamız onları dinlerinin/inançlarının gereklerinden alıkoyma gibi anti demokratik eylemleri kınadığımız ve bundan kaçındığımız anlamına geliyor. Ancak inanç özgürlüğüne saygı duymak, inançlara koşulsuz saygı göstermek demek değildir. Bu ikisi çoğu kez inançlı insanlar tarafından karıştırılmakta ve "herkesin dinlere saygı duyma şartı" gibi ifade özgürlüğünü engelleyici yöntemlere başvurulmasına sebep olmaktadır.
Dinler birer felsefi düşüncedir ve bizler hiçbir düşünceye koşulsuz saygının dayatılmaması gerektiğine inanıyoruz. Bir başka deyişle dinlerin de diğer düşünceler gibi normale indirgenip tartışılması, sorgulanması gerektiğini düşünüyoruz. Bizler söylemlerimizle insanları değil, düşünceleri hedef alıyoruz çünkü düşüncelerin değil, insanların haklara sahip olduğuna inanıyoruz. Dolayısıyla hiç kimsenin "dini inancıma hakaret edildi, mağdurum" deme hakkının olmadığını düşünüyoruz. Eğer inandığınız şeylerin eleştirilmesinden ve doğru kabul ettiklerinizin sarsılmasından endişe ediyorsanız, ateist içerikli yazı ve medya unsurlarını takip etmeyiniz. Buna herkesin gücü yetmektedir, kimse kimseye zorla bir şey izletmiyor.

The National Pork Board (NPB) has extended its integrated “El Sabor de Hoy”, or The Taste of Now, campaign in an effort to feature pork cuts that deliver great flavor and value, making it the ideal protein for Latino consumers in the U.S.
The campaign will run from October, which is National Pork Month, through December, when pork is a staple during the holidays. To bring the campaign to life, NPB has once again teamed up with Puerto Rican-born and Miami-based Chef José Mendín. Mendín is a five-time James Beard Award nominee and restaurateur behind the Pubbelly Restaurant Group, including Pubbelly Noodle Bar, an Asian-inspired gastropub in Miami.

Over 255,000 people in the United States will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer this year, and over 41,000 will die, with metastatic breast cancer being the leading cause of those fatalities. Despite these staggering statistics, there are signs of hope. Treatments for metastatic breast cancer are improving, and they continue to help people with the disease live longer and healthier lives.

The Albuquerque, N.M. metropolitan statistical area (MSA) had the highest per capita auto theft rate in 2016 according to the National Insurance Crime Bureau’s (NICB) latest Hot Spots report.
Hot Spots examines vehicle theft data obtained from the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) for each of the nation’s MSAs. MSAs are designated by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and often include areas much larger than the cities for which they are named. For example, this year’s number one spot, the Albuquerque, N.M. MSA, includes all thefts within the entire county of Bernalillo, not just the city of Albuquerque.

La Administración de Alimentos y Medicamentos de los Estados Unidos (FDA, por sus siglas en inglés) alerta a las mujeres embarazadas sobre los riesgos de la listeriosis, una enfermedad transmitida por los alimentos que puede afectar gravemente a las mujeres embarazadas y a sus bebés no nacidos.
La Listeria puede afectar a personas de todas las razas y grupos étnicos, pero las mujeres embarazadas tienen una probabilidad aproximadamente 10 veces mayor de contraer listeriosis que otros adultos sanos debido a los cambios hormonales que afectan el sistema inmunológico durante el embarazo. Las mujeres hispanas embarazadas son unas 24 veces más propensas a contraer listeriosis que la población general. Una mujer embarazada puede transmitir la Listeria a su bebé no nacido incluso sin saberlo porque no se siente enferma, pero la enfermedad puede provocar un aborto espontáneo, muerte fetal, parto prematuro, nacimiento de un bebé con bajo peso, una amplia gama de problemas de salud para el recién nacido o incluso la muerte del bebé.
