Huawei today opened the 2nd Global Services Forum in Zurich, Switzerland. Under the theme of Re-architecting Infrastructure and Operations for New Growth, the two-day event brings together more than 300 guests from leading global carriers, standards organizations, open source communities, analyst institutions, partners, and media outlets. The forum this year is aiming at sharing experiences, innovations, best practices, and thought leadership to advance new growth on the journey of re-architecting operating model and ICT infrastructure in the fast changing digital era.
Eric Xu, Huawei’s Rotating and Acting CEO, delivered an opening speech titled A Shift in Mindset towards Customer Experience-driven Operations. The 19th Azerbaijan International IT and Telecommunications exhibition Bakutel 2013 will be the largest in the event’s history and coincides with the country’s ‘Year of ICT’, an initiative of President, Ilham Aliyev.
The event will take place from 2nd to 5th December at the Baku Expo Center and will feature almost 300 companies from more than 25 countries. 15 countries including Spain, Canada and France will be promoting their technologies on national stands, while groups from Afghanistan, Italy and the USA will participate for the first time.
