Local Owners & Pit Masters have their on-site pits smoking 24-7 to serve guests authentic, Texas-style, straight-from-the-pit barbecue. To make the month even bigger for the largest barbecue chain in the nation, every Dickey’s guest will receive a free Big Yellow Cup on May 16, the official National Barbecue Day; while supplies last, no purchase necessary.
Online fans of Dickey’s Facebook page can also participate in the festivities all month long by entering for the chance to win delicious prizes. Last weekend, OUE hosted the official grand opening of OUE Skyspace LA. Guests flocked from near and far to be among the first to experience the public debut of California’s tallest open-air observation deck and Skyslide with a slew of celebratory events throughout the weekend.
On Friday, June 24, the ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted local and international VIPs as OUE Skyspace LA opened its doors for the very first time. Speakers included Dr. Stephen Riady, Executive Chairman of OUE and Raymond Chan, Interim Deputy Mayor for Economic Development. Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, an evening of special performances from artists such as Brian McKnight, and more wowed OUE’s guests of honor.

Today, 99 Cents Only Stores celebrates their latest feat of becoming the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title holder for the Largest packaged product number. In a fast-moving production that took less than 24 hours, 100 people and over 12,000 products on the field of the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, Calif., the retailer created a gigantic 18,200 square foot “99” display in celebration of their inaugural #99Day customer appreciation event. As the sun rose above the world-famous stadium in the most picturesque scene, a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS adjudicator verified the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title and presented the 99 Cents Only Stores with the official certification for the Largest packaged product number.

The United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and National Company “Astana EXPO-2017” have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
The document was signed at an official ceremony at the Madrid headquarter of the organization by Akhmetzhan Yessimov, Chairman of the Board of NC Astana EXPO-2017, and Taleb Rifai, Secretary-General of UNWTO.
"We expect that “EXPO-2017” will bring a large number of visitors to Kazakhstan. Therefore, we have focused our efforts on training personnel in the service industry," reported Mr. Yessimov following the signing of the memorandum.
We are counting on UNWTO's support and assistance in holding training sessions for Kazakhstan tour operators."
