There is only one place to be on St. Patrick’s Day and that is Ireland. The St. Patrick’s Festival is truly one of the great spectacles of the world — a week-long celebration of music, dance and outdoor shows culminating in the stunning St. Patrick’s Day parade through the historic streets of Dublin on March 17th. The festival is one of the early year highlights on the cultural calendar in Ireland and what a year 2014 is going to be.

More than 80,000 healthcare workers and their communities from across the country and around the world joined together in the Medline Pink Glove Dance for breast cancer online video competition. After a hard-fought dance battle, the online votes are in and Medline is pleased to name Geisinger Health System, Danville, Pa., as the winner. As a result, $25,000 will be donated to their charity of choice, the American Cancer Society, providing free transportation for treatment to central Pennsylvania breast cancer patients in need. Additionally, Medline and participating hospitals will donate another $1 million to the National Breast Cancer Foundation and various local breast cancer charities nationwide. More than $2.2 million has been donated through the campaign and Medline Foundation since 2005.

German-born pop singer Fiona released the music video to her single "Up & Down" through her Youtube account last year, and the video has already garnered over 5000 views.
The simplistic video serves as a very appropriate accompaniment to Fiona's pop-synth sounds. Featuring Fiona with her lover spending time on the beach, the video tinges with a bright, energetic vibe. Fiona herself wears a headpiece and is radiant in her array of colorful dresses.
The single itself is a great mix of pop and Euro-dance. While Fiona claims clear influence from the euro-dance movement, her vocal abilities and musical style closely resembles that of mainstream American singers.
