Pace, Chicagoland’s suburban bus and regional paratransit provider, is proud to remove transportation barriers for people with disabilities through its fixed route bus system and ADA Paratransit service. In honor of the United Nation’s International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which promotes the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities each year on December 3, Pace has updated their educational materials to help riders with disabilities more easily use Pace’s fully accessible services.
The video and graphics below provide educational support related to Pace’s fixed route system and ADA Paratransit service. The materials are intended to improve the experience for riders living with a disability by increasing understanding of Pace’s offerings.

In honor of its 50-year legacy at the center of the Las Vegas Strip, the iconic Caesars Palace celebrated its golden anniversary with an opulent birthday pool party, featuring a five-tier cake, champagne toast and a 10 minute fireworks extravaganza hosted by award-winning chef Gordon Ramsay. The anniversary festivities continued on Saturday, Aug. 6 with a once in a lifetime gala headlined by world-renowned entertainers Tony Bennett, Jennifer Lopez, Howie Mandel, Wayne Newton, Donny & Marie Osmond, Matt Goss and The Righteous Brothers. Opening today, AVATAR fans in Taiwan will be the first to experience the new, interactive exhibition, AVATAR: Discover Pandora, inspired by James Cameron’s blockbuster film. Together with Lightstorm Entertainment and Twentieth Century Fox Location Based Entertainment, GES partnered with Beast Kingdom Co., Ltd. to bring AVATAR: Discover Pandora to Taiwan for its global premiere at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, Xinyi Place A11 6F, Xinyi Theatre in Taipei for a three-month showcase.

As school dismisses for the summer, students of all ages look forward to the carefree days of summertime, but many kids experience what is called the “summer slide.” Studies show that kids can lose up to two months of learning. Kumon, the world’s largest after-school math and reading program, is offering free registration at participating learning centers from June 1-30 to help students continue learning through the summer months.
While a break from the mental taxation of school is needed, challenging children year round is the key to having a strong start the following school year.
“Students can avoid summer learning loss by keeping their minds active and absorbing new knowledge,” said Dominique Ciccarelli, Ed. M., education specialist for Kumon North America. “Continuous study throughout the summer helps ease students into the new school year with sharper skills and enables them to tackle new challenges.”
