A peine rentrés de vacances, les Français ont dû affronter le moment fatidique de la rentrée, et avec elle, son cortège de bonnes résolutions scolaires, sociales, politiques… et le retour pour chacun à la réalité du quotidien « métro, boulot, dodo ». Pour évaluer la place du lâcher-prise dans le quotidien des Français, Club Med, accompagné de l’Institut CSA, a voulu sonder les différentes formes d’expression que prend aujourd’hui cette notion dans la société.
Le lâcher-prise est plébiscité par plus de 8 Français sur 10 qui déclarent en ressentir le besoin tout au long de l’année, comme un moment de pause nécessaire, et 89% d’entre eux qui avouent le pratiquer sans culpabilité. Le lâcher-prise serait-il en train de faire un pied de nez à la tyrannie de l’urgence et du stress, remède imparable pour affronter nos vies agitées ?

Youth homelessness charity Centrepoint and promoters SO-UK have brought together some of the biggest names in UK Soul, Blues and R ‘n’ B for one night only at Indigo O2 on 17th April to help give homeless young people a future.
‘SO-UK: Centrepoint Sessions’ is a sublime evening of UK Soul starring much loved artists from the UK soul movement: Carl McIntosh and the Loose Ends Experience, Omar, Junior, Imaani, Terri Walker, Don-e, Natasha Watts, Maya Blu, Femi Fem, Ronnie Herel, Fitzroy Facey (Soul Survivors), Sammy Confunktion – all keeping the vibe alive till the early hours. Young people supported by Centrepoint will also be performing during the evening.

Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway company, was on hand last month as Blazing Hope Ranch, a nonprofit organization in Dayton, Tenn., that aids survivors of human trafficking, commemorated its new H.O.P.E. Haven facilities at a recent dedication ceremony.
H.O.P.E. -- Healing, Opportunity, Protection and Education -- Haven will serve as transitional living quarters for the survivors in the Blazing Hope Ranch program. In 2016 Vanderbilt Mortgage donated two modular homes previously used for company housing to Blazing Hope Ranch that currently make up H.O.P.E. Haven. The four bedroom, two bathroom homes will be used to house female survivors and live-in mentors while they go through the organization’s program.
