https://exodraft-heatrecovery.com/about-heat-recovery/uk-heat-recovery-ihrs-funding/ Visit https://exodraft-heatrecovery.com Did you know that your company can receive up to 50% government funding when installing an industrial heat recovery system? The program is called IHRS – or Industrial Heat Recovery Scheme – and within the program, a total of £18 million are available for funding. Of the £18 million, £6 million are earmarked for concept and design and £12 million are earmarked for installation, commissioning and monitoring. A heat recovery project can receive funding at any stage – even at the consultant and analysis stage – all the way through to the final turn-key delivery. Funding applications are graded on a 0-to-10 scale. The higher the score, the greater the funding potential. In order to be eligible for funding, the heat recovery system must be installed on an existing installation. The project as a whole is graded based on energy benefit, kilowatt savings as well as environmental, economic and social impact and must achieve a minimum score of 5. It is a requirement that the recovered energy is used within the confines of the business.

Johnnie Walker The Journey, since its inception, has always told stories of progress. Through Storyline, Johnnie Walker The Journey aims to inspire people by highlighting incredible, real stories that have made a positive difference in the world. Bringing to life its mantra of #KeepWalking, Johnnie Walker The Journey introduces ‘Ode to Lesvos’, the first among a series of short films that aim to inspire people to embrace positivity and bring them together to build a better tomorrow for the world. Can you really ignore what’s in front of your eyes? Because tomorrow it could be me. I could be on a boat with my family and I would like to be helped,” says fisherman Stratis Valamios in Ode to Lesvos. This time, 12 months ago, Stratis’ life changed beyond recognition as he spent months on end rescuing men, women and children from the waters around his home. His village, with a population of around 150, became the front line of the refugee crisis as hundreds of thousands of people came ashore, fleeing war and seeking a better future. Although the NHS is ranked as one of the institutions that makes people ‘most proud to be British’1, a new poll commissioned by Astellas Pharma Europe Ltd, highlights that 91% of people feel that the health service is in need of change2. In particular, shorter waiting times (36% of respondents) and improved access to medicines (30%) rank most highly as the areas in need of greatest reform. With only 1 in 4 of respondents agreeing that the Government currently spends enough on health, the survey reveals that those polled would be willing to accept an average charge of £10 for a missed GP appointment in order to improve service levels. The people polled also said they would be willing to pay an average of £170 per year in additional income tax for healthcare funding – which could result in approximately £5 billion in additional tax revenue for the Treasury3. In addition to these charges, 39% of those polled would be willing to accept an additional charge if it meant quicker access to healthcare services and 44% of those polled would be willing to accept additional charges if it meant access to newer and potentially more effective medicines. This season, the House of Givenchy, under the initiative of Artistic Director Riccardo Tisci, is bringing an exceptional collection to New York, as the city represents the capital of the American dream for the designer and for the founder Hubert de Givenchy, who were both supported from the very beginning by the American market. On September 11th 2015, New York hosted a performance show dedicated to love and sharing. With a décor of recycled materials installed on the banks of the Hudson in Tribeca, there was an unprecedented audience in attendance: professionals from the fashion world rubbed shoulders with celebrities, fashion-school students, winners of a competition organized in partnership with the city, and local residents from the neighbourhood. The website givenchy.com and giant screens installed across the city, from Soho to Times Square, also broadcast the show live, while advertising buses made their way across the Bronx, Harlem, and Queens inviting a wide a number as possible to follow the event. With Marina Abramović, a friend of the House and co-author of numerous artistic projects, Riccardo Tisci created a performance which reached beyond the scope of fashion. Designed to be an emotional experience focusing on universal themes (love, peace, freedom, humility, spirituality), it notably put the spotlight on four artists who performed spiritual and cultural chants from across the world. True to form, Marina Abramović also invited seven artists to host live performances on the show's location. Starting this May, homeowners in Stockholm can access pay-per-use power tools for the garden, eliminating the need to maintain and store hedge trimmers, chainsaws and other tools that are used less frequently. The project is a pilot, and part of Husqvarna’s commitment to explore innovative and sustainable solutions for taking care of gardens and green spaces. The Husqvarna Battery Box, is a "smart", 8x3 meter, unattended container with 30 electronic lockers that store battery powered garden care products. Via an iPhone app, homeowners can reserve tools, get instructions, pay, and open the locker to pick up their pre-booked power tool. The "box" will be placed at Bromma Blocks, a shopping center 15 min west of Stockholm city. Renting a garden care product will cost 350 SEK a day (approx 35 Euros or 38 USD).
