In a multimedia marketing campaign that launches today, Pepsi MAX boldly invites American consumers to taste for themselves that when it comes to maximum taste and zero calories, Pepsi MAX conquers the competition. That’s the message in a remake of the iconic “Diner” commercial that aired during Super Bowl XXIX, where two soda delivery truck drivers go head-to-head over a can of the best tasting cola on the market. In the 2010 version, the truckers are back; and they both want the zero calories and maximum taste that only Pepsi MAX can deliver.

Bayer HealthCare’s Consumer Care division announced today the introduction of Bayer® Advanced Aspirin, the next generation of aspirin for pain relief. Using the patent-pending Pro-Release™ Technology, Bayer Advanced Aspirin is clinically proven to relieve tough pain twice as fast as previous Bayer® Aspirin tablets.
With the introduction of aspirin in 1899, Bayer offered one of the first widely accessible analgesics, or pain relievers, to consumers. Today, Bayer's overall global Aspirin business continues to grow, and had double-digit, year-on-year sales growth in Q1 2011. Yet, while Bayer continues to be a leader in the category, for many U.S. consumers, Bayer Aspirin is primarily synonymous with cardiovascular use. Now, through a combination of technological innovation and rich analgesic heritage, Bayer is introducing a new standard in aspirin for tough pain relief with Bayer Advanced Aspirin.

The National Bone Health Alliance (NBHA), a public-private partnership with 42 member organizations, is urging a simple solution to a big problem: if it’s 50+ fracture, request a test. This is the call-to-action for the NBHA’s new public and healthcare professional education campaign – 2Million2Many (www.2Million2Many.org).
The campaign reflects the two million bone breaks that occur in the U.S. each year that are caused by osteoporosis and urges the public and healthcare professionals alike to take action and request a test for osteoporosis when someone age 50 or older breaks a bone. Despite the fact that 50 percent of osteoporosis-related repeat fractures can be prevented with existing treatments, only two in 10 initial bone breaks get a follow-up test or treatment for osteoporosis.
