This is a tribute video to our customers who played at Diablo Venture Games Paintball for the past 1/4 century. It starts off with shots of some of our many volunteer ref\'s and paid managers. Diablo Venture Games was always proud of those ref\'s who represented our paintball games to the public. Our customers most often commented both in person, phone and email on how well our staff performed and serviced their needs, ensuring the safest paintball games in the San Francisco Bay Area.
It\'s not surprising, giving the fact that we always attracted and accepted only those young people with the very best character traits. Most all my staff the past 1/4 century went on to college and are active and productive members our great nation. We count 15 eagle scouts among our ref\'s. Many went on to military carriers, taking what they learned on our paintball fields to the battle fields. Among my very proudest are 2 west Point, 3 Annapolis and 1 Air Force academy graduates, not to mention the many enlisted who worked their way up the enlisted ranks.
Although there are some relevantly new customers represented in the video, most shots take you back the the mid eighties and continue into the early nineties. In my opinion, this was Venture Games golden years as well as paintball its self, before it went total commercial and corporate

Diablo Venture Games Paintball Park opened on April 12th 1986, due to the property owner selling the land; it was forced to close down on January 31st 2009. It was home to the original Ironmen recreational paintball team from 1986 to 1988 before it switched to a tournament team. Home to the Lost Boys, Little Rascals, Wild Geese, Out of Shape, Team Taurus and countless others no one ever herd of but deserve mention in this world of the internet!

Eric Stonestreet, Emmy Award-winning actor on the hit TV show Modern Family and one of TV’s most playful personalities, is helping to inspire more play by inviting dog owners across the country to enter the third annual Beneful Dream Dog Park Contest. To enter the contest, dog owners are asked to answer the question: “If you had $500,000 to create a Dream Dog Park where you and your best buddy can play together, what would you do?” The Grand Prize Winner’s dream idea helps serve as inspiration for a $500,000 renovation of a dog park in his or her area. Warner Bros. Consumer Products, internationally renowned dog behavior expert Cesar Millan, and Scooby-Doo were joined by over a thousand dogs and their loyal owners for the Scooby-Doo and Cesar Millan National Family Pack Walk on Sunday, October 30, at Lake Balboa Park in Van Nuys, CA. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the event were donated to the Millan Foundation, which strives to create and deliver community humane education programs and promote animal welfare by supporting the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of abused and abandoned dogs.

Located in the southern end of Colorado's San Luis Valley, Crestone

Although a town only since the 1880's spawned by the miner's

Mr. Freeze: Reverse Blast was introduced at Six Flags St. Louis today with St. Louis Cardinal and World Series MVP David Freese on-hand for the first official ride. Eighteen members of Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Louis joined Freese for the inaugural launch-ride on the park’s newest twist to one of its most popular thrill rides. Mr. Freeze: Reverse Blast sends riders backwards through a 190-foot tunnel, into a 180-degree inversion, then climbs more than 200-feet in the air where they will find themselves suspended, dangling in the air, before repeating the entire chilling experience.
“I have been coming to Six Flags since I was a kid and the roller coasters have always been my favorite,” said Freese. “I was really excited to ride Mr. Freeze: Reverse Blast. The backwards launch and experience of going up the tower facing straight down is a real rush.”

Thirty Elvis impersonators clad in white and red jumpsuits were the first riders to take to the skies this morning on Six Flags Great Adventure’s new, extreme swing ride, the 24-story SkyScreamer.
SkyScreamer is the cornerstone of the park’s newly-themed Adventure Alley, which offers guests a retro vibe and classic thrill attractions including Déjà Vu, a music-themed scrambler and Air Jumbo featuring whimsical flying elephants. New bumper cars, Fender Benders, will open in Adventure Alley in June.

The View’s Elisabeth Hasselbeck hosted the eighth-annual More Magazine | Fitness Magazine Women’s Half-Marathon in Central Park on April 3rd. More and Fitness magazines in partnership with New York Road Runners, welcomed nearly 10,000 runners for the biggest women’s-only half marathon in the country. Hasselbeck also participated in the race, running her first half marathon with her own Team Nogii to raise money for Celiac Disease research, an autoimmune disease from which she suffers. Hasselbeck finished with a time of 1:44:32.
