Woodson, an African American historian, who began a weeklong celebration, called Negro History Week, in 1926 as a way to honor Frederick Douglass and Abraham Lincoln. Known as “Tiffany Lamps: Articles of Utility, Objects of Art,” the exhibition comes to Biltmore from The Neustadt Collection of Tiffany Glass in New York City.
