TEFAF Maastricht is the finest art and antiques fair in the world. From 18-27 March 2011 more than 30,000 works of art spanning 7,000 years will go on sale at the MECC (Maastricht Exhibition and Congress Centre) in the city of Maastricht in the southern Netherlands. The European Fine Art Fair (TEFAF) attracts major collectors and museum curators from all over the globe. Last year more than 170 private jets flew into the local airport during the Fair with 82 arriving for the glamorous opening night party at which some 12,500 glasses of champagne were served.

Jay Godfrey is the founder and creative director behind his eponymous collection of sleek, sexy and sophisticated designs. Perpetually inspired by the chic New York woman, Godfrey’s goal as a designer is to meld the classic tailoring techniques of Savile Row with modern silhouettes and luxurious fabrics. A native of Toronto, Godfrey realized his dream of becoming a designer while working his first summer job at Hugo Boss. On Saturday, June 3, the latest wonder in the MSC Cruises fleet, MSC Meraviglia was christened in a glittering ceremony by international screen legend and godmother of all of MSC Cruises’ ships, Sophia Loren. At 171,598 GRT and with guest capacity of 5,714 (4,488 at double occupancy), MSC Meraviglia is the biggest ship to be built by a European ship owner, MSC Cruises, and also the biggest ship to come into service in 2017.
