Diabetes experts met and determined that some self-monitoring blood glucose (SMBG) systems, despite meeting accuracy standards at the time of U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance, fail to consistently meet accuracy standards once on the market, potentially putting patient health at risk. In a public meeting convened by the Diabetes Technology Society on May 21, 2013, in Arlington, Virginia, leading academic clinicians, clinical chemists, medical device experts, patient advocates and FDA representatives reviewed a growing body of peer-reviewed research demonstrating that the performance of some blood glucose monitors on the market may not be meeting accuracy standards. Do science and religion conflict? Is there disagreement between science and spirituality? It turns out there is no conflict. The apparent conflict is because, till now, the metaphors of ancient texts such as the Bible, Talmud, and ancient Yoga Literature, had not been rigorously studied and compared to cutting edge scientific discoveries. Some of these studies have been reviewed by scientists and published in three international peer-reviewed scientific journals. Sanjay's research on the new agreements between spirituality and science is the first ever to get published in such high-ranking journals. By Sanjay C. Patel, Author of GOD IS REAL - The Stunning New Convergence of Science and Spirituality. Visit: http://www.SanjayCPatel.com

http://hypertracker.com/go/gosolutions/120221yt10kt/ My testimonial for Matt Lloyd's 10,000 Leads in 100 Days Program. This Matt Lloyd testimonial is based on my early personal results of taking action on some of the marketing channels and strategies he reveals in his course. He told me that there would be times I'd want to quit but in the end it would all be worth it. I appreciate his honesty...but I don't think I'll be quitting anytime soon. http://youtu.be/z1PdQb8mxT8

Nearly 200 years after the introduction of the stethoscope, the accuracy of a pocket ultrasound device that enables a physician to “look” at a patient’s heart during routine physical exams has been validated for the first time in peer-reviewed research led by Scripps Translational Science Institute (STSI) and Scripps Health. Roughly the size of a smart phone, the Vscan™ pocket ultrasound used for point of care assessment of heart health could significantly reduce costs from traditional echocardiograms and improve the quality of care. Research was published in the July 5 issue of the Annals of Internal Medicine. The pathway to better health for teenage girls starts with the first meal of the day, and when they make a “good-for-me” choice their odds of having a healthier body weight and lower cholesterol improve. These are the latest peer-reviewed findings summarized in Public Health Nutrition. This analysis of the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute Growth and Health Study (NGHS) data was funded in part by the General Mills Bell Institute of Health and Nutrition. The NGHS followed the diets of 2,379 girls who, at the beginning of the study, were between the ages of nine and 10 from 1987 to 1997; 51 percent, or 1,213, were African American girls and 1,166 were Caucasian girls who lived in Berkley, CA, Cincinnati, OH and Washington, D.C.

The ghost of a little girl born at the Trans Allegheny Lunatic Asylum playing ball with us. We didn't see the ball move at the time, and only noticed it when we reviewed the footage after we got home.
