When it comes to home décor, one of the easiest ways to update a room is with a fresh coat of paint. This year, FrogTape® brand painter’s tape is proving how simple it is to heighten your home’s appeal with the inaugural Paintover Challenge™ room makeover contest. The contest runs through May 25 and tests the design skills of six DIY home décor bloggers as they transform a space in need of a makeover. The challenge is simple; all six bloggers must makeover their space using three things: paint, painter’s tape and a $1,000 budget. To up the ante, each blogger has been assigned one of the 2016 FrogTape® Design Trends identified by celebrity interior designer, Taniya Nayak, as this year’s hottest styles for the home. The process will be documented on their blogs and on paintoverchallenge.com with before, during and after shots of the room transformations. The winning blogger will be selected through public voting – which begins May 31 – and will receive $5,000 to donate to their favorite charity and appear in an upcoming national FrogTape® magazine advertisement. The winner will be announced on June 27. “With the launch of the FrogTape® Paintover Challenge™, we’re hoping to inspire both expert and novice DIYers alike to step out of their comfort zone and push their creative limits – while showcasing the diversity of paint and painter’s tape,” said Allison Shagovac, influencer marketing manager, ShurTech Brands, LLC. “The participating bloggers each have their own unique styles and personalities, and we can’t wait to see what they create as they compete for a good cause.” To view the multimedia release go to: http://www.multivu.com/players/English/7721331-frog-tape/

The collection launches today in 320 Sephora U.S. and Canada stores, and is also available on Sephora.com and Sephora.ca. “Our founder, Estée Lauder, invented the beauty business as we know it,” said Jane Hertzmark Hudis, group president, The Estée Lauder Companies. “So we asked ourselves, ‘If Estée was re-inventing the beauty business for Sephora today, what would she do?’ The answer is The Estée Edit.” “The Estée Edit is a win for both Estée Lauder and the Sephora client. For two decades, Chateau Ste. Michelle’s Artist Series wines have celebrated the inspired collaboration between artisan winemaking and fine art. To commemorate the 20th vintage, Chateau Ste. Michelle is partnering with Dale Chihuly, the first artist to present artwork on the Artist Series label with the 1993 vintage. The 2012 Artist Series featuring Chihuly will release nationally in August with a suggested retail price of $65. The Artist Series red blend is a unique, collector’s wine that represents the highest quality and pedigree from Chateau Ste. Michelle. Each Artist Series vintage features the work of renowned artists on the label, from blown glass to bronze sculptures to paint on canvas. “I’m honored to have my artwork on the 20th vintage Artist Series label,” says Chihuly. “This piece is one-of-a-kind and very special to me. I couldn’t think of a better use than portraying it on this significant wine project.” For the 20th vintage label, Chihuly selected his Cast Silver Venetian. This unique sculpture was created by Chihuly, and then cast in sterling silver at the Walla Walla Foundry in Washington State. Inspired by Italian Art Deco, Chihuly started his Venetian series in 1988 with Italian glassblower Lino Tagliapietra. Chihuly is known for his artwork and ambitious architectural installations around the world in museums, historic cities and gardens. A recent survey conducted by Harris Poll on behalf of the newly-formed Coalition to Prevent Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Medication Misuse (CPAMM) finds that college students’ perceptions and attitudes towards the misuse, abuse and diversion of ADHD prescription stimulants are complex. The findings paint a portrait of students who recognize the risks of misuse, but understand why some students may choose to misuse, given the academic pressures in today’s college environment. CPAMM intends to use the findings to inform and develop educational campaigns to help prevent nonmedical use of ADHD prescription stimulants. The survey was conducted online between May 15 and June 11, 2014 among 2,056 US college students (full-time, 91%, part-time, 9%), defined as adults aged 18 to 24 enrolled and seeking a degree at a 4-year college or university and attending at least some in-person classes.1 To view the Multimedia News Release, go to http://www.multivu.com/players/English/7373051-cpamm-survey-reveals-college-students-adhd-prescription-stimulant-abuse-misuse-and-diversion/

Wiping up finger paint and tackling juice spills is a routine every parent has down pat. Yet they may find themselves playing hide-and-seek with the invisible things little hands leave behind—like bacteria and viruses. Germs stick to all types of surfaces, and kids spread them to more places than you can imagine. To track down where germs linger, The Clorox Company and global public health organization NSF International conducted a study in homes of families with young children. Researchers analyzed 100 samples from five commonly-touched surfaces, and found bacteria or viruses on all five of the surfaces tested, from the kitchen to the common area to the bathroom, with the bathroom sink being one of the surfaces with the most germs. In fact, the study results found that four times as many households had bathroom sinks that were germier than kitchen countertops.
