Today, SC Johnson celebrated the anniversary of one of its recent renewable energy investments, two wind turbines at the company’s largest manufacturing facility, Waxdale, in Mt. Pleasant, Wis. These turbines have successfully cut nearly 6,000 metric tons of greenhouse gases in their first year. Combined with the site’s cogeneration systems already in place, the Waxdale facility, which is the size of 36 football fields, is now able to generate, on average, 100 percent of its electrical energy onsite.

Power and construction partners Westinghouse and CB&I joined community leaders and project workers at a special event to mark a year of progress at the historic expansion of Plant Vogtle near Waynesboro, Ga. The Clayton home building group (Clayton) and the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) have teamed up with two other companies to design and build a 3-D printed concept home, showcasing the possibilities of 3-D printing and illustrating advancements in energy management. The four entities unveiled this revolutionary achievement in 3-D printing at a ceremony in the Oak Ridge National Laboratory on Sept. 23.

Unusual Marathon EXPO 2017, designed to draw the world's attention to the International specialized exhibition in Astana, was launched in October 2014.
