Last Tuesday night, Laetitia Casta and La Maison Cointreau announced the launch of the Cointreau Creative Crew in the Pompadour Ballroom at the Hotel Café Royal in London. A worldwide philanthropist programme curated by Creative Director Laetitia Casta, the Cointreau Creative Crew aims to develop women’s freedom and encourage them to make their dreams a reality. Launching for the first time in the UK, this programme will culminate in one entrepreneur being awarded a £20,000 bursary to support their creative project which will be announced in Spring 2016.
Decorated with Cointreau elegantly dressed in soft furnishings and floral arrangements, the Pompadour Ballroom played host to 150 guests on the night. The former French model looked stunning and was joined on the night by a host of A-list celebrities including Ella Eyre, Donna Air, Charlie XCX and Laetitia Casta. FC Barcelona has organized a talk named Crossing Bridges, hosted by Aperture Foundation in New York. This talk was part of the promotional activities of the FCBARCELONA PHOTO AWARDS, which is the first one in its nature, initiated by a sports club and aiming at photographs that will best depict the positive values of sports for the society.
The Awards expect participation of artists who use photography as a vehicle for artistic expression, professional photographers, as well as photojournalists. Oklahoma State University’s planned performing arts center received a major boost today with a $25 million gift from alumni Ross and Billie McKnight to establish an endowment to support programming.
“This visionary gift from the McKnights will ensure our new performing arts center truly maximizes the opportunities for cultural enrichment that the magnificent modern facility will afford,” said Oklahoma State University President Burns Hargis. “As a result of the generosity of the McKnights, we will be available to present celebrated national and international performing arts productions and artists that will enhance the cultural experience on campus, in the Stillwater community and across the region.”

Thousands converged onto Addams Medill Park in Chicago during one of the nation’s largest 3-day Latin alternative music festivals, Ruido Fest.
