Sigrid Olsen becomes an on-air broadcast persona, launching today, to premiere on HSN and debut the Spring 2015 collection of her first women’s fashion line since 2008. This new chapter of reinvention leverages Sigrid's 30 years of compelling career success as an artist, designer, and veritable icon to many American women. Sigrid's “marquee designer” partnership affords ability to sell beautiful clothes across various HSN platforms, including TV, online and mobile. In an effort to encourage children to spend more time outdoors and reconnect with nature, the U.S. Forest Service and the Ad Council are joining Sony Pictures Entertainment to launch a series of public service advertisements (PSAs) featuring characters and footage from Columbia Pictures/Sony Pictures Animation's upcoming family comedy The Smurfs™ 2. The PSAs are an extension of the U.S. Forest Service and Ad Council's Discover the Forest campaign and will be featured at an event on Saturday, June 22, at The Grove in Los Angeles as part of the studio's
To motivate parents and their children to spend more time in nature together, the U.S. Forest Service and the Ad Council today launched a new public service advertisement (PSA) campaign urging families to experience the many wonders of nature close to home together.
The PSAs, created in partnership with The Foundry, Time Inc.’s state-of-the-art creative lab and content studio, focus on family time in nearby forested environments, reminding parents that having a nature experience with their children is not only easy and local, but also fun and full of learning opportunities and benefits. This is the first time that the Ad Council has worked with the creative division of a media company that has iconic roots in publishing on a large-scale production on behalf of one of its PSA campaigns. A range of Time Inc. properties are also donating print and digital advertising space in support of this campaign.
