KÀ by Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas made its first appearance at Comic-Con on opening night, Thursday, July 21st, with a dramatic showdown on the outside walls of PETCO Park in San Diego. The outdoor performance took place directly across the street from the San Diego Convention Center and included a display of dazzling 3-D projections. Created especially for Comic-Con, the performance tells the adventurous tale of KÀ by turning the stadium façade into an interactive performance space featuring 3-D projections and live acrobatics.

Issue #196 of Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate saw the publication award its highest rating over the entire Languedoc-Roussillon region for the 2009 vintage to La Pèira - a small wine domaine in the Terrasses du Larzac appellation.
David Schildknecht of the Wine Advocate names the domaine as one of the greatest of its region and among France’s finest, producing wines:
