The name Hugo Boss is commonly associated with a well-known international fashion label. The German company, headquartered near the Southwestern city of Stuttgart, is a truly global player when it comes to fashion. But Boss is also getting in on the act in the world of fine art. No surprise then that the company has been awarding the Hugo Boss Prize for the past twelve years as an accolade for up-and-coming artists. Nominees have already built a reputation in the art scene. It is only natural that such award ceremony requires an adequate setting. Consequently, instead of being staged at the seat of the company in Metzingen, the event takes place in New York City.

The Tory Burch Foundation today announced the launch of a global campaign, #EmbraceAmbition, to encourage women to embrace ambition. The initiative kicks off today to coincide with International Women’s Day. Inspired by Tory’s personal experience as a woman and entrepreneur, the campaign aims to address the double standard that exists around ambition, which is often seen as a great attribute in men and as a negative one in women. A cornerstone of the campaign is a video PSA celebrating ambition, created with Laird+Partners. Feeding America, the nation's largest hunger-relief organization, has partnered with the Ad Council and McCann New York to launch new public service advertisements (PSAs) designed to raise awareness about child hunger in the United States. Featuring the voice of celebrity activist Julianne Moore, who volunteered her time and talent, the PSAs call upon Americans to help children facing hunger in America by supporting the Feeding America nationwide network of food banks.
