The III Moscow International Forum for Innovative Development "Open Innovations" and the Open Innovations Expo in 2014 were organized by Russia in partnership with the People's Republic of China. On 14 October the heads of governments of the two countries held a plenary session -"The Emerging Global Innovation Map: Closing the Gap Between Countries." International cooperation was also discussed during the event "Innovation Dialogue: Partners Interaction Over Innovation Policy".

The XVIII Habanos Festival is opening its doors today to host the largest international event for lovers of the world’s finest tobacco: the Habano. In this edition, the festival will pay tribute to Cohiba, the most distinguished and exclusive brand of Habanos that is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
At the press conference presided by Leopoldo Cintra González, Commercial Vice-President of Habanos, S.A. and Javier Terrés Ercilla, Vice-President of Development of Habanos, S.A., the year’s major launches were presented, such as the Cosecha Reserva 2012 from the Hoyo de Monterrey brand, in its famous Epicure No 2 vitola; the new Magnum 54 from the H. SunPower (NASDAQ:SPWR) has once again raised the bar by introducing the highest-power solar panels available today for the residential market. In the United States, the company has launched its Next Generation Technology home solar panel called A-Series, delivering 400 and 415 watts of power. In Europe and Australia, homeowners can also now order a 400-watt solar panel from SunPower called Maxeon® 3. Each is the first home solar panel to deliver more than 400 watts in its region and is designed to deliver 60 percent more energy in the same amount of roof space over the first 25 years compared to conventional solar.

Under the direction of afimilk, the largest, most comprehensive dairy farm project in the world has entered its third year, and is operating in five of 12 farms with 23,000 cattle. The project, located in Vietnam, was planned and constructed by on-site afimilk experts.
