The Cotai Strip® development was the scene of a New Year’s Eve extravaganza Monday. The celebrity-filled spectacular featured a special concert from the hit TV show The Voice of China and Hong Kong’s Paul Wong & The Postman at the CotaiArena™, and a countdown to a magnificent fireworks display that rung in the New Year.

I was able to catch the saturday fireworks exhibit in my first visit to the Mall of Asia. So childlike, but I was shouting in joy :p Needless to say, I love the eve of new year because of fireworks display!
This is Opera Australia's most ambitious project ever, costing $11.5m with over 130 performers, 240 Opera Australia staff and 60 volunteers. Staged under the night sky and against the spectacular backdrop of the Sydney skyline, performers and audiences alike will be lit up nightly by this sparkling opera production complete with fireworks on five barges. In honor of its 50-year legacy at the center of the Las Vegas Strip, the iconic Caesars Palace celebrated its golden anniversary with an opulent birthday pool party, featuring a five-tier cake, champagne toast and a 10 minute fireworks extravaganza hosted by award-winning chef Gordon Ramsay. The anniversary festivities continued on Saturday, Aug. 6 with a once in a lifetime gala headlined by world-renowned entertainers Tony Bennett, Jennifer Lopez, Howie Mandel, Wayne Newton, Donny & Marie Osmond, Matt Goss and The Righteous Brothers. Special Icon Awards were also presented to honorees that have helped shape Caesars Palace’s rich history, including Calvin Harris, Gordon Ramsay, Celine Dion, Elton John, Jerry Seinfeld and more.
