Tyrelle Davis and Faith Fennidy, both 11-years old, made headlines when they were sent home from school because of their hair extensions. Eleven-year-old Jorja Orrick was bullied for having short hair, which prompted her sister Sarah to cut her own locks in solidarity. With real stories like these and a history of helping young girls build self-esteem, Dove was inspired to join forces with Kelly Rowland to write and produce an original song titled, “Crown” — a power anthem that aims to break down the narrow definition of beautiful hair and encourage girls to feel confident in wearing it how they choose. The Paris Saint-Germain squad made history today at the Al Shahaniya racecourse near Doha, competing in a camel race as part of the Qatar Tour 2019.
Fired up by manager Thomas Tuchel’s stirring speech in the tents pre-race, the Paris Saint-Germain players piled into 4x4s provided by the organisers, with each player controlling their camels via walkie-talkie. The 13 camels covered the 4km racetrack at speeds of up to 40km, with the players steering the dromedaries from cars alongside.

Clayton, one of America’s leading builders of prefabricated homes, has released a new video featuring the story of a family whose Clayton Built® home survived the devastating Category Four Hurricane Michael.
When the hurricane made landfall Oct.10, Darla and Terry’s Clayton Built® home was along its path. The two moved to Mexico Beach, Fla. from Alabama after retirement to be closer to the beach. They originally planned to build a site built home on their newly purchased property, but after learning more about Clayton and touring the company’s Clayton SE Homes home building facility in Addison, Ala., the couple opted to purchase a Clayton Built® home from Clayton Homes of Panama City instead.

Thirty-six injured veterans with Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) made it to the Flight 93 National Memorial on day six of their cross-country journey to raise awareness for veteran issues. Soldier Ride Across America commemorates the 15-year anniversary of Long Island native and veteran supporter Chris Carney’s historic coast-to-coast cycling venture in support of wounded warriors, which spurred the creation of WWP’s Soldier Ride® program.
“I’m honored to be able to represent my veteran brothers and sisters on this historic ride,” said Shonda Gloude-Jones, U.S. Army veteran and Soldier Ride Across America cyclist. “Being able to visit the 9/11 memorials in New York City; the Pentagon; and Somerset County, Pennsylvania, has taken a larger emotional toll on me and the other warriors than any of the physical aspects of this journey.”
